Location

Situated next to piazza Politeama, all major monuments and sights are just a short walk way, such as Teatro Massimo and Teatro Politeama, as well as the famous historical churches. Walking is a wonderful way to take in all the splendid sights, sounds, and even aromas the city has to offer. Take a stroll along Via Roma and tuck yourself into some of the side streets. Explore the many shops and cafes as you make your way towards the historic centre, stumbling upon ancient artefacts, churches and monuments where Arabic, Greek, and Roman architectural styles intertwine to reflect the tumultuous and rich history of the city. Don’t be afraid to ask our friendly staff who are always willing to assist you and eager to help you get the most out of this historical city.

To really gain an appreciation of the culture, visit the famous Vucceri Markets off Via Roma. Vendors here sell all types of fresh fruits and vegetables as well as fabulous sea foods and meats. Ethnic diversity is on show here in the wide variety of food on display. The chaotic sounds and sights of the market truly offer a unique experience.

Surrounding Areas Of Palermo

There are plenty of sights and natural wonders to see in the vicinity of the city as well as the abundance of treasures found in Palermo. Not far away lies the city of Agrigento, famous for its ancient Greek temples dating back to the B.C era!

UNESCO Heritage Site

These marvellous monuments are a UNESCO Heritage Site which brilliantly demonstrate ancient Greek architecture, mostly intact temples with great surging columns, a most impressive site to see. For Those Sunny Days

During the warmer months it’s the time to take advantage of the fantastic beaches around the city. Mondello is a local favourite only 10 kilometres outside the centre. These sprawling, white sandy beaches and sparkling crystal clear blue-green water are the perfect way to relax and take in the splendour of the island’s natural jewels. Cafes and restaurants abound in the small town and give a good opportunity to sample some of the cuisine of the area, especially the extremely fresh seafood and famous gelato, while you admire the beautiful views under the warmth of the Sicilian sun.

Cefalu

A little further out is Cefalu, another favourite and equally beautiful beach, great for escaping the heat of the summer sun and enjoying the serene crystal waters of the Mediterranean. Don’t hesitate to ask the staff for additional information.
